Carolinas Minority Supplier Development Council is asking its corporate members, Minority Business Enterprises and the local community to help collect 400 children’s books to benefit Charlotte-area elementary schools as part of a new “Ready to Read” community service campaign. CMSDC, a regional supplier diversity and economic development organization based in Charlotte, selected three schools to receive the books: Mallard Creek Elementary, 9801 Mallard Creek Road; Lake Wylie Elementary, 13620 Erwin Road; and Lansdowne Elementary, 6400 Prett Court. The collection period is May 1st thru August 14th at local area business locations throughout the region.
